The Quiet Hour and the Carolina Conference have agreed to cooperate with two initiatives:

A. The Quiet Hour has agreed to underwrite collegiate sponsorship program in order college/university students can have the opportunity to preach one of the international evangelistic campaigns organized and funded by ShareHIM, and

B. The Quiet Hour has also agreed to provided some financial assistance to a limited number of pastors and laymen/women so they can experience God using them to bring souls to the foot of the cross. The process and and details of the sponsorship program is as follows:

  1. The Quiet Hour and ShareHIM agree on a particular list of countries and dates in which The Quiet Hour will plan a leading role.

  2. In the regions and dates agreed upon between these two organizations, the role of The Quiet Hour encompasses two aspects: a) Financial sponsorship of selected speakers, and b) assisting ShareHIM with general campaign management.

  3. From the applicants to speak for campaigns in these countries The Quiet Hour will select speakers (pastors and laymen/women) to whom they will offer financial assistance.

  4. Though individual speakers may apply, who will be sponsored is entirely a Quiet Hour decision and is dependent on internal criteria set by The Quiet Hour as well as the availability of funding.

  5. Effective for campaigns conducted during 2004, the financial assistance will be as follows: The Quiet Hour will provide US$750 to assist the speaker with his/her travel expenses (airline tickets, hotel, meals, passport, visas, inoculations, etc.). Any expenses exceeding his amount are the responsibility of the guest-evangelist.

  6. Changes to these financial terms may be made without notice other than modification of this statement which will include the date any changes become effective.

  7. In return, The Quiet Hour expects the following:
    a) That the speaker will recruit support-team members to participate in various aspects of the program such as provide health and family life talks or coordinate a program for children. The Quiet Hour will provide material for health and family-life talks to those who request them from among the speakers they sponsor.
    b) That the speaker will request Quiet Hour sponsorship by checking the appropriate box on the application form.
    c) That the speaker, and his/her team, will include a reference to both The Quiet Hour AND Carolina Conference sponsorship in all post-campaign reports.
    d) To provide conversion/life-changing stories and pictures to The Quiet Hour to be used in Quiet Hour publications and fund-raising appeal letters.
